Janohito using Assyrians with Egyptian Allies defeated anderarcos playing as Romans 105-25BC. Final score 57-26

It was a close affair with Romans going heavily into elite legionaries while Assyrians using mix of infantry and chariots to hold the line. While Roman legionaries went through Assyrian infantry like hot knife through butter, chariots managed to hold for long enough as Assyrian cavalry did their work on exposed flanks of the legionaries.

A match where the Urartian foot struggled to cope with warbands clearly determined to make life difficult for them. The Germans/Gauls broke through the Urartian line, while just managing to hold off a looming Urartian cavalry threat on the flank.

Thanks to gfs26 for the game. The battel felt much closer than the score suggests.

A solid formation between hills and rough terrain allowed the winning Florentine side to wear down the enemy foals until the Florentine cavalry made a pincer movement and finally broke the opposing ranks.

ray552 (German (Imperial) 1488-1500 AD) defeats edb1815 (Milanese 1440-1500 AD) 41-11

Hilly rough terrain in the center of the map limited the avenues of approach for both armies. The Germans gradually ground down the Milanese in a long fight on a hill between medium infantry, crossbowmen and light foot, along with the push of pike of the heavies in one of the valleys. Well-fought by edb1815!

There is a new version of the Silk Road mod available that now includes the later Spartan armies (in particular, the 221BC list that everyone loves so much). Let the Above Average Pikes run rampant and do Gerard Butler proud.

Let me know if you have any issues.

Does anything need to be done if one had already previously installed this mod? Does it update itself when you load it in the game? Does the current version need to be deleted and the new version downloaded again? Thanks.
