Challenging battle, Andalusians rushing to confront quickly, got stuck in a heavy fight in the center. While on the flanks, their troops were gradually wiped out. The race was going to be the first to break the enemy's forces on its sections. The Andalusians managed to take over the center before the flank reinforcements arrived. A big contribution to the light archers on the left flank, who for many turns held back the general's elephant unit on difficult terrain, until autobreake.

A stream divided a couple set of two low hills to the south and the high ground to the north with the crusaders holding the two. Before them stood the mongol host, and a forward march was in order to close the distance, focusing on the western flank to face only one trebuchet as opposed to the two that dominated the center and east. The Mongols rode to meet the crusaders, and despite the victory score, the crusaders took sizable casualties without breaking too many troops due to the arrow fire. Crusader spears and shields weathered the Mongol onslaught and managed to press forward, standing tall for the victory.

The crusaders sat a couple low hills and ahead was the Sicilian league, on top a hill for their own. In advancements the stepped forward first at the left, a battle standard carting off center left and giving cover to lines of crossbows'. Both armies began to sling fire, the crusaders steadily adding pressure to the left, until Hospitaller knights found a gap and smashed into their masses of archers. The battle devolved and both armies took pieces from each other. Bodies lay strewn at the foot of the hill, in a small valley. Today luck was on the side of the Crusaders.

Deeter (Antigonid) defeats lydianid (Jewish) 60-59

The fighting focused on a small hill in the center and got off to a bad start when the Antigonid CnC fell while attacking a fragged slinger with a veteran phalanx! This unlikely death spread panic through the ranks, fragging an elephant and disordering some other units. His demise was followed by that of a Jewish general as both sides fed more troops onto the hill. The fighting swung back and forth as Antigonid cavalry worked on the flanks and fighting continued on the hill. The Jewish CnC fell there as well before his army broke. Locals sent to clean up the carnage later dubbed it The Hill of the Dead Generals. It was a close victory and good game.

Two marshes divided the battlefield into three sectors. The German City/Feudal army won the left marsh battle and smashed the German City/Low Countries center. The German City/Low Countries army was winning the right marsh battle but it was still indecisive. Thanks for the game.
