How is this possible?

Assault Squads of my opponent apparently made an 8-tile-jump. How could they do that? Even with jump packs +2 and charge +1 it should be only 7 tiles?! What do I get wrong?

A melee unit can strike another unit that is directly in front of it, so if a unit has four movement points, it can move up and hit something 5 tiles away from its starting position, 6 tiles away if it uses a charge to get +1 movement. So, the basic rule of thumb is that melee range is the units total movement points +2 if it makes a charge. So jump pack units have a maximum range of 8.

Yes, thank you! I figured that out in the meantime. I had added 6 + 2 for jump + 1 for charge, but forgot to add the attack itself, so it´s 8, not 7.
