Some thoughts and a question

A long time veteran of all the Panzer Corps games. I picked up PZ2 last month and just started to play it a little bit more. I noticed that replacements are not free anymore in between scenarios for the campaign? Is this accuRATE?

Secondly, the map is hard to discern the different troops. I always liked the flashing icon on the other series, third, how do I tell the difference between core units and auxiliary units?

Thanks and I hope I can find the same amount of playing hours as Panzer Korps.

Only on Major. They are cheaper than in-battle reinforcements, though.

Core units have a gold chevron on their strength plates.
