'41 Kiln challenge... did I get it??

So playing through the last mission in the 1941 DLC, Kiln, where I am tasked with saving 5 transports and getting them to safety.

Steam guide says that on turn 20, if they are all alive, I can trade them for a jagdtiger, which in the '42 GLC, becomes extra Tiger tanks.

Well, my Kiln scenario only lasted 15 turns, which I thought was weird. But I saved all the transports till the end, and only one got hit at all for 5 damage.

But I didnt get any notification that the challenge was met or that I got anything special, and when I loaded up the '42 scenario, I had no prototype AT or Tanks to use.

So my question is, did I complete the challenge? Did allowing the one transport to get hit at all mean I didnt complete it?

It sounds like you are playing with -5 turns challenge? They break lua scripts triggered by turns, I think. Also, you need 100 KV-1 1940 captured to have the event, or it won't show up anyway.

I have the same question like conanthelibrarian. The scenario ends on turn 15 (Colonel difficulty), the 5 transports have survived (one was badly damaged but still alive). When I start DLC42, I can´t see any prototype in my list. How is it supposed to work?

The same for Moscow (DLC 41) - what happens if I raid the Kremlin? I even kept it captured until the last turn but, beyond the message that Stalin is not anymore there I found nothing. Did I miss something, should something appear in my captured unit list?

You should get 1 Captured SU-100Y in your AT equipment list, which is the token for Kremlin. "Raid" objective does not require target being occupied once you have caputured it. KV event gives 1 Prototype Jagdtiger also in AT list as token. Also, update your game to the newest version if you haven't, and try to restart in the newest version if you are using an old save.

So in AO42 you get special Russian equipment.

You can also get more early Tiger prototypes.

Thanks for the info! It´s now clear. What did I miss in 1941, because I didn´t get the Jagdtiger? Was I supposed to capture 100 KV1 in 1940? I´m far from that I think I have around 30 (even with the trait). How can this be achieved?

You missed what's written above, 100 KV-1 1940 in captured stock.You have to focus on capturing KV-1 Model 1940, not "KV-1 in 1940", there is no KV-1 in AO 40, and KV-1 1941 will start to replace them in late AO 41 scenarios.
