Any unofficial info how well this runs on steam deck?

Take up the role of a great wizard, wield powerful spells, command fantasy races and challenge your rivals in this remake of a cult turn-based strategy classic. Do you have what it takes to become Master of Magic?

I'm sure a lot of us would love having MoM on the go, and the UI looks like it sould be fine on a small screen.

Trying it out now myself. The first boot failed, but after booting once in desktop mode it works fine now (not sure if desktop mode was needed or just an inital boot). 1280x800 was selected by default. I've only played a few minutes of an actual game but so far it seems to run well. Using default Proton.

The in-game frame rate limiter doesn't work (not 30fps anyway), but the deck's built-in limiter does.

Edit: the town stats in the town view is so small I need to bring the deck up close to read it, the rest has been readable at normal playing distance.
