Hi, here is the new phase of Persian releases.

Mainly filling some gaps in the current range. So, as a whistle stop tour we have -



Larger wicker shields for the levy spearmen
Mounted officer types
Standard Bearers designed to fit with the rescaled LBS Sassanid banner sheet

Cataphract with fully mailed helmet
A handful of new horse varieties.
Plain cloth barding (as many have requested for painting opportunity!)
Unbarded types also
All with the baggy trouser rather than the banded armour legs
I will re-jig the line a little breaking it down into an early and later period. So earlier with the ornamented barding, and plain cloth. Later the half barded etc.

All the riders are split waist and are designed with maximum option for mix and match.

Also some cavalry for the later period to cover auxiliary type (Dihqan and Sogdians etc)

Finally the elephant. There are trunk and leg variants for 4 poses. There will be another elephant without the howdah but that is a little way off yet

They are currently being mastered. hopefully ready commericailly 2nd week in April ready for Salute

Those elephants are great. One of the best I have ever seen. I wonder if they could fit Ancient armies, like Seleucid.

I have high hopes. All being well the LBMS elephant cover transfers will be made , Steve has already scaled his Sassanid banner sheet for 15mm. The banners seen here have been designed to fit.

Should all look impressive.

I have a Zoroastrian fire temple set waiting in the wings for either a camp or BAU piece.
