Campaigns are looked following reinstall

Post by cbelva »

I had a hard drive failure and had to reformat my hard drive. I have reinstalled Battlefield Academy and found that all my campaigns and the editor were locked. I remember where they were unlocked in the past. I played the Tutorial thinking that that would unlocked them. It unlocked the Western Dessert Campaign and the editor is now functioning. But all the others are locked. I am updated to vs 1.5.4. Any way to unlock the rest of the campaigns.

You have to play the tutorial and the first couple of Desert Campaign battles through. I didn't like it either.
You can call me junk - and type that with one hand.

Thanks, and yeah, that kinda a bummer. Is there anyway that can be corrected for those in the future that have been playing for awhile and then have to reinstall?

IIRC you can open the OPTIONS.TXT file in My Docs/My Games/BBCBA and set the CAMPAIGNS value to 255 and it will unlock all the campaigns.

The locking stuff is kind of a pain, but otherwise people will dive straight into DDay or Bulge and the balance is way off on those as starting battles :).

Cheers
