Dave Madigan's frustrations with the NKE seemed to me to be that his DBM tactics didn't work - combined arms of chariots, archers and close fighters outmanouvering the enemy. The and the bowmen not standing up against heavily armoured knights

FoG NKE bowmen don't stand up against light armoured knaves, let alone heavily armoured knights in my experience...

They're very good against chariots
