No bonus units to deploy

When playing GC 39 I have got messages saying that I have received a bonus unit, but it does not show up on the units list or on the map! Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Bonus units will have 'SE' in their unit Identification and you should see +1 in your 'Units in Reserve' at the top of your unit list...

There are also those new units that come in the middle of the scenario. You have to look around for them sometims on the edges of the map and they usually have a historical hero.
