Great, i send mine, to be fair i dont expect it very soon (maybe in september-november) but is great see it now... even when i am in the middle of an upgrade situation with my old "coffee pot" and some drivers are giving me a days

Expect be selected (i am in other beta) because i follow the game since the first info appear... and i am not the only one specially in certain wargames community.

Nothing more to say apart good luck with the project and well, expect be selected i remember the old times testing FOG army packs hunting bugs in army lists

PD: a little question, beta is only over base game or it include the 2 DLC/Expansions/army packs for ECW and Italian wars??? thanks.

All of these, and random map games in all of these, in SP and MP versions.

Thanks for the reply rbodleyscott, nice, i think the main betatesters work is going to be in the army lists and random battle system specially when is now a lot more powerfull than in FOG, i dont discard historical battles (there were very good historical custom scens in FOG) but main play time at least in my side is going to be in random.

Maybe there will be random play with options for historical opponents, for contemporary opponents or within the DLC/army set, and then more freewheeling options.

Well, the point with P&S is the improvement in random/army list game mode... in FOG you play all the time encounters, no reinforcements and i really never see the use of defensive constructions... i expect P&S solve this and well, constructions you can use like farms or mills... ooo what about bridges??? game have something to cross water obstacles???

The interest around beta is great maybe more out of official forum in wargames communities

PD: maybe some new images to show the army list system... or cover for game hehehe.

Actually we usually announce Beta recruitment more or less two weeks prior to the start of actual Beta testing... So you still have a chance to get in!

It depends really, from one to several months, basically until we are confident the game is good, fun and stable enough to be released.

So it differs from project to project, a game is never 100% finished, so we support it usually for years afterwards.
