Retreat table not corect ?

Post by Tigre »

On the retreat table, it says a unit with 2 pips must suffer 2 hits to retreat (it won't take the second one) ...
Well a 2 pips soviet armor (out of 4) retreated on one damage (taking 0 casulaty) !
I suspect that the Battle of the Bulge coding as not been corected for Drive on Moscow ? BotB retreat table says, RH* where DoM says H ...
the reason is maybe something else ?
thx :)

Did you report that using the Feedback button in the game? Because that gives the specific situation and makes it much easier to visualize.

I post here to avoid another thread related to retreats issue...

First of all I sent you the feedback of the gamecenter match where the situation occured. Now I explain it: during a soviet prepared offensive (turn 20), an attack in Orel with two axis infantry 9 pips together defending it.
Infantry suffered 5 hits (after terrain reduction of course) and retreat so only 4 hits accounted for. Now, defending in a victory space (such as Orel) give the defender a shift one column on the right of the retreat table and in this case with 5 hits the result is "hold" not 30% chance of retreat (remember the right shift). Am I missing something?

Thank you for answers!!!
