Can't download patch 1.04

I get an error that the game can't download the patch. I have these issues with the Slitherine/Matrix updater all the time. It say something about "can't execute line 44" as an error message.

can you try a different browser and manually download the file from login in to your support account or follow this link

Yeah, I got it. But that updater has continuously had issues in all of my Matrix games.

mostly either a firewall or a anti virus issue, try next time to see if it's any better to install the game by right clicking and install as admin, and install to a none default place also, either or both may help you, good luck and glad your sorted and sorry for your issues

I already tried admin and I always install to a non-default place.

btw, I usually get a new laptop each year and have had this issue with almost all Matrix games at some point since 2013. I have just worked around it.

sounds like a firewall or router issue more than anything, but tbh it seems that you have your own way of sorting it anyway

I have the same problem and i tested it with firewall and AV disabled but nothing changes. I get the message there is a new update and when attempting to download it I keep getting the error message "On Start, Line 44: attempt to perform arithmetic on global 'FileSizeBits' (a string value).

I can help myself any manually install the update but the issue seems to be there.
