Order Of Battle - Mediterranean

Post by CommanderPony »

Order of Battle - Mediterranean would be insanely awesome and intense!! Any plans for this to be developed? OOB is the best Strategy game ever. Thanks for all you do, Artistocrats!!!! If you ever switch eras I will biy every game you make like OOB. Civil War, Napoleonic, WWI, Feudal. You name it!! The game play is uniquely easy to engage though hard to master. Awesome!! 100% re-playability, too.

The best Strategy game ever = 1/3 OoB + 1/3 Panzer Corps + 1/3 Germany at War - Barbarossa 1941

CommanderPony, we need more customers like you! On behalf of The Artistocrats, thanks for your vote of confidence. Believe me, all of us are eager to see where they take OOB, not only to other theaters of WW2 but to other historical eras as well.

As far as your immediate interest, I am fairly sure that we will see Afrika Korps someday (they already have a campaign icon for it someplace in the game, awaiting use) and some of our custom scenarios may deal with Mediterranean battles; for example, there is a Crete scenario available, designed by our master modder Erik.

"Afrika Korps" DLC for OoB: That would be an instant buy for me. Please make it so!

Yes would be a insta buy for me too, a dlc in africa would be the great place to put the supply mechanics into use since supply was a central issue in that campaign.

That actually does sound pretty good. The customization mechanic in Germany at War (allowing a certain customization of units by adding various battalions and companies) was very interesting.

Guys, I doubt the Artistocrats will ignore the exploits of the Afrikakorps. But right now, Panzerkrieg is on top of the list. So have patience.
