server issues.

Hi folks!

So, I have been playing fields of glory online (just started, only bought it at christmas) and I am having server issues. Now, in the past while playing sengoku jidai I had the same issues. However I have found that after just trying to end turn repeatedly for about 20 mins will finally get the turn uploaded to the server, not ideal but whatever, gives me time to study while waiting so its all good, Im a patient guy.

Anyway...the issue is with fields of glory 2, I get the usual, "upload unsuccessful, try again" business (I usually have to hit end turn a good 8-9 times before it uploads properly in sengoku) however when it takes me back to the battlefield the user interface is completely gone! I cannot hit "end turn" again as it is simply not there. I had a quick look at the hotkeys (f1 if I remember） and there is no end turn hot keys (the others all work) and without the user interface I cannot attempt to upload my turn again when it inevitably fails (which it will, this is an ongoing issue I have made my peace with in sengoku).

Is there a button for hitting end turn on the keyboard or if not, is there a work around?

Hi. I am sorry you have had this problem. It is a bug which as far as we know only affects each side's first turn of a game. (We already put in a fix for it in an earlier patch, but did not realise that the fix didn't work on the 1st turn). This only came to light this week and we are seeking to fix the bug as quickly as we can - but it isn't a simple issue.

In the meantime, the only way round it is to CTRL-ALT-DELETE out of the program and then redo the turn from scratch.

Once you get past the first turn, the disappearing End Turn button bug should not occur - if it does, please let us know.
