I've got this idea which wouldn't be too hard to implement, but would greatly enhance the game.
Units should respond vocally when being selected or given orders, like in RTS games.
So, they would say a collection of usual phrases upon moving, attacking, being selected or attacked, best in respective languages, like ''yes, sir(?/!)'', ''infantry/armor on the move!'', ''attack!'', ''enemy aircraft, take cover!'', ''Panzerregiment bereit!'', ''Befehl?'', ''Angriff, Schutzen!'', ''URA!!!'', ''Da, komandir?'', ''pekhota gotova'', etc.
What do you guys think?
Unit voices upon selection, move, attack - like in RTS games

I like the idea and it will help identify the unit being selected.
It'll have to be handled a bit differently however since you're not issuing orders to individual soldiers in the field like an RTS but instead shuffling chess pieces around in the command HQ.

Well, soldiers in RTS games usually speak in general, unit terms, as in ''squad, ready'', or even more general, they just state their army branch: ''infantry ready''. In that aspect, it is really the same, unit wise, whether they say ''infantry squad ready for orders'' or ''infantry regiment ready for orders'', don't you think?
If you've played Company of Heroes or R.U.S.E., you might have heard even more general terms: ''Pride of the Vaterland'', ''German steel'' (armor); or the more colloquial banter and comments like ''pack your asses and get ready to move!''
I think it would be great to add some humorous banter like that!

I don't want this feature. I think it will be very annoying.CroCop96 wrote:What do you guys think?
Maybe it should be optional?

I guess thus will be funny in the beginning but annoying after a while, so I would also opt for an on/off option...

I agree, but it has to be diverse enough to not get boring after a while.
