Later Hebrew

Post by hammy »

One of the new FoG players in my club is keen to build a later Hebrew army. I have suggested that he looks at Chariot miniatures but am not sure which figures are best for which troops. Could he get away with :

http://www.magistermilitum.com/product. ... =&PT_ID=98 for the Gibborim?

Also presumably the later period Hebrew chariots would look rather like Assyrian or Babylonian ones?

Generic spearmen and archers are easy.

FWIW Vexillia carry a Vanexia Isrealite range - http://www.vexillia.ltd.uk/venexia/shop15_bib.html

No idea if they are more or less historical but may be worth a look as well, they certainly include armoured chaps.

Hmm, I think I prefer the Chariot ones.

I will have a google and see if I can find any images.

i'm thrilled with my venexia later hebrews for DBA! I recommend them highly, the chariot minis are just proxies from other armies, the venexia minis are dedicated bona fide hebrews

I still have few of the 15 mm David and Goliath sets left; not a lot but a few. Available free when you order 5 packs or more.
