Post by Veles »

Salve!
Ok, so I just made a mirror match between Transylvania 1494-1558 and Austria 1520-1533. Medium size. Agricultural.
If you're interested then you know what to do.

Salve fratres!

Primo, a message for AmbrosioSpinola, I failed to send my turn of our Nördlingen game several times already. Something went wrong with it and I'm not sure what. I'm afriad we won't be able to finish it.

Secundo:
Shoutout to Ockius for taking up the challenge in his first multiplayer battle in an unfavorable matchup of Transylvania 1494-1558 (played by yours truly) against Austria 1520-1533.
Congratulations to maroczanicchi for winning said matchup with roles reversed.

Tertio, because of the lockdown I'm stuck in my house, so I have a lot and I mean a LOT of time to play right now and for the next week or two, so if anyone wants to play just issue a challenge I'm probably going to accept it.

I also created four challenges making them in two mirror matches. The first ones are Swedish 1697-98 vs Polish 1680-98, I think this challenge is better for more experienced players, whoever is playing Poland will be at a big disadvantage. However, because it consists of two challenged you can always take both and have revenge as the Swedish

The second mirror match is rather simple, English Civil War, Royalists 1634-44 against Parliamentarian 1642-43.

Take them up while they're still fresh

P.S. Sorry for the double post.

Edit: All challenges were taken.

Salve fratres!

As always I'm announcing new challenges. (I found they're accepted much quicker when I post here, maybe a coincidence, maybe not).

As usual, I'm offering two pairs of challenges creating two mirror matches:

First: Medium size battle Danish 1681-1698 vs French 1691-1698 and vice versa. - I heard that Snuggle likes the later Danish lists, so maybe?

Second: Medium size the German States 1570-1589 vs Polish 1576-1610 and the other way around.

Edit: Just added a third mirror match between Austria 1543-1558 vs Ottoman 1494-1559 A good practice before the second round of the "Enemies of the Ottomans" tournament.

Finally, short summary of previous battles. Gribol and I went 1-1 in our Polish-Swedish matches to finally settle the winner in a third final match which was won by Gribol with an embarrassing (for me) score of 11% to 50%. A win even more impressive considering he played the Polish. Congratulations.

Veles, I am thinking of a mini campaign or series of linked games as our next P&S event. They start with a Swedish invasion of Poland and, depending on the outcome of each game there will be new match-ups. Let me know by pm if you would like to try out a game sometime. Os just set one up, pw Alan

Le Roi Solei Danish 1678-1680 vs Polish 1676-1679 and vice versa

Tercio to Salvo Austrian 1570-158 vs Transylvanian 1560-1599 and another one with switched sides

Salve fratres!

A total of 8 new challenges posted by me. As always challenges are paired in mirror matches. Picking both isn't mandatory but welcomed.

1)Starting with some English Civil War action:

New Model Army 1646-1660 vs Royalists 1645-1648 (Forces size: Large!)

2)Next Polish-Ottoman War:

Ottoman 1649-1698 vs Polish 1680-1698

3)The unusual matchup of the day:

French 1670-1690 vs Polish 1676-1679

4) Scanian War but Swedes left it to the Polish:

Danish 1649-1677 vs Polish 1673-1675

Grab them while they're still fresh!
