WINTERCON

Make it not true Ian. Ian (Ravenflight) is running a FOGR event at Wintercon in Canberra 18-19 July 2015. 15mm 800 points. I am very excited at playing, as I believe is my brother Martin. Canberra in the middle of July is proof that parts of Australia do have winter. Hope to see some of you there! A...

Re: LF charge

probably not a good idea. Well... let me tell you about the time I evaded a MF charging unit with my LF, who were promptly caught and defeated and routed the MF, killing a general in the process... I did that to poor Mitchell in my first ever playtest of FOG all those years ago - my Parthian MF cit...

It would be nice if the results of the multiplayer games were recorded as they are in Field of Glory

Re: Pike & Shot is now available!

Being able to easily (at a glace) see troops that you haven't used this turn. Perhaps if they greyed out or something on the tiny map once you had expended a unit? Several times I forget troops that I can move... the AI never does, and whilst it's my fault for not moving them I don't think the 'gen...

Re: Enjoying it so far

And the French 30 years war list options for the skirmish games are a bit funny too - no option for horse as opposed to determined horse - I can't try and replicate my glorious 15mm tabletop french with hordes of average, armoured, impact and melee pistol horse (I don't like determined horse)

The principle value of knowing FOGR will be in knowing what the troop classifications mean!

Enjoying it so far

It took a very long time to download on my work/ gaming computer on Friday but then the rest of the day was wasted as I played it. I enjoy it immensely already and look forward to playing others online as I do with FOGAM. A couple of things I don't like - 1. I haven't yet worked out how to get rid o...

Opponents wanted

I often play this at work during quietish times in chambers or to procrastinate.

Most of my opponents appear to live in time zones that mean their turns are played over my night.

Anyone play during something like Sydney, Australia business hours?
