Is the grand campaign playable i.e. winnable without using captured equipment? 3/5 of my core thanks are non German models. Half my fighters are British. Feel like too much.

Are the heroes with two attributes in AO 1940 available for SCW or the Standard Campaign?

I will restart from SCW to enjoy these new traits and all the other improvements. Delay playing AO 1940 itself. Who knows how long a wait it will be for AO 1941. Panzer Corps 2 for me a definitely worth my time for many replays.

Tried restart AO 1939 and re import the SWC core units to overcome the bug without success. I don't think I can play AO 1939 without being able to buy or upgrade the three artillery units from SCW. Disappointing. Hopefully a fix will come around soon.

I am not offered any German artillery to buy. Only captured ones from SCW and no transports. I had selected Denied Artillery in SCW but for AO 1939, I did not. Yet I am still denied buying German artillery. I think it maybe a bug.

I am enjoying very much the "underpowered" German units. SCW takes it to several levels beyond the one scenario treatment in Panzer General 2.

If one selects the Non Overstrength trait, does the Consolidator hero still provide a unit with +5 strength? Or is this hero now effectively rendered useless?

Drawing inspiration from PG2, perhaps a DLC for the Spanish Civil War as a prelude to the 1939 Poland Campaign. Another attractive DLC could be Yugoslavia, Greece and Crete.

I have reached Sealion Bridgehead on Colonel with about 18K prestige. At General, it is proving a challenge to have enough prestige to buy the rail gun at Sevastopol, select the non historical path after Stalingrad. Moscow, Stalingrad, Along the Volga and Kuybshev burn through a lot of prestige.
