Migration to Windows 10

Hi,

I just acquired a new machine, and ended up on Windows 10 in the process. I installed Polaris Sector. However, when I try to run it, I get a vastly blown up screen - it lists POLAR across the whole screen, and there is no way for me to navigate to any menus.

What should I do?

Hi, I note that, when I consider, stepping up to a challenge, the side of the challenging player is listed as Side A, or Side B. OK,

More factories improve ship production. This makes sense.

What about production of new mining and other resource extraction facilities? Does having a factory make these get created more quickly? Ditto for farms and research centers?

What are they good for?

Yes, I know that if you have 4, you can build a shipyard. Is there anything else? It would seem reasonable that having these would speed production of ships, and of other facilities. Does it? If so, by how much?

Hi, I just started with P&S campaigns. Also, just received a response to a Lepanto challenge. However, On trying to start the game I get an error message: "Script error in //////lepanto.bsf": Faileld to find variable ISTileEdgeReallyDefendibleObstacle: Did you forget to predefine it?" Yes, indeed!

I think varying the number of break points by the importance of a unit would be a huge improvement. Making light units count for half would be a big step in that direction.

I agree with the above.

go with the current version for now. Whether or not there is too much randomness in the dice, skill does win out.
