One more question about the decision tree before I respond to and make my challenges. After an ally has been declared, can it be withdrawn? For example, if I respond to your Graeco-Bactrian challenge with the Bithynians, could you then respond by switching back to your Macedonians? And if you did would I be able to switch to my Bosporans?

Good question and unless there are objections I would say no. That was the idea originally that people wont get political on the bidding.

I think players should be required to follow the decision tree via PM in order for there to be an equal situation for everyone, or the whole point of using allies is moot. This is going to draw out the process of setting up matches though, the cost of implementing such an option.

If the larger maps is an issue, it would probably be wiser to stick to the default size for Very Large games. This would only require players to set the time limit on the advanced menu.

This is correct. You challenge the H teams next to your names. Map size now reduced to 48x48 since most games have not started because some people encounter heavy lag on maps that large.

Dont forget to choose at least one game for your HETEROGENES/XENOS and declare it!
