Next unit button
Next unit button
Maybe it´s only me but I would like to have a "next unit" button, in all the mayhem of a epic battle an unmoved unit is easily forgotten.

This cycles through your units that have not yet performed any action this turn.

Also there is the Unit List (L hotkey) that will show all moved units as greyed out, making it even easier to find unmoved units.Yogi the Great wrote:Next Unmoved (TAB hotkey)Nixoncc wrote:Maybe it´s only me but I would like to have a "next unit" button, in all the mayhem of a epic battle an unmoved unit is easily forgotten.

There’s are little arrows on the bottom left and right. Click them then the various tool buttons appear.

The "B" hotkey cycles through missile units that haven't fired. This is very useful because missile units do not automatically shoot as in Pike & Shot, so if you forget it is a lost opportunity.

It's like that so you don't waste ammunition if you don't want to shoot.w_michael wrote:The "B" hotkey cycles through missile units that haven't fired. This is very useful because missile units do not automatically shoot as in Pike & Shot, so if you forget it is a lost opportunity.

Re: Next unit button
I'm beginning to wonder if the left and right menus should of been open by default. If someone doesn't do the tutorials or read the manual then making them unobtrusive is proving to be a negative.

Re: Next unit button
I hope not. I already have to use the "J" hotkey to close the strategic overview map at the start of every MP turn. I don't want to have to minimize two other menus as well. Make it an option like detailed tool tips.Patrick Ward wrote:I'm beginning to wonder if the left and right menus should of been open by default. I only had to set my options once, so two pages is no biggie.Patrick Ward wrote:Oh no. I can see the options screen running to two pages ... :O
