End of Summer

August slipped away into a moment in time,” goes the popular song that went back to the top of the charts on the 31st of last month. It’s the end of the summer, and everyone’s coming back from their holiday with new resolutions and plans. Add Gamescom to that, which is still the biggest gaming event in Europe, and you’ve got a good idea of how important this time of year is.

Future plans and more

We spent a good part of the last two weeks trying to figure out release plans and events from September to December, and I must say we’ve got a pretty busy schedule. It’s not only news games and DLCs being released, it’s a house of live streams, new formats, announcements, and more. We’ve even got a new Home of Wargamers LIVE, and it’s only weeks away.

Lot of things happening

Being part of a growing company involves being reactive and ready for change. For us, it means being able to release sixteen new games in four months (16!), which means around fifty different SKUs. This doesn’t take any patches and updates into account, so by the end of December, we estimate to deliver well over one hundred pieces of content. It’s a lot.

Coming back to normal

We’re starting our new season today by sending our first post-summer newsletter. Monday morning will see the YouTube kick-off of the Newsroom format, and Thursday we’ll be back with Tea Time. We’re excited and ready for a very busy season, but we’re also glad to be back at sharing our journey with all of you. Not everyone in this industry has the luxury of being in such positive contact with its community. Remember that your feedback, suggestions, and critique are the fuel that makes us want to do better, so make sure you share them with us.

While August slipped away into a moment in time, we’re now ready to wargame our nights away. I hope you join the dance and stay with us until Christmas. I promise it will be worth it.
