Occasionally the game doesn't fill my whole screen - I don't know why. I can fix it by going to the CEaW control panel (top right of the buttons in the bottom right of the screen) and clicking on Toggle Full Screen. Sometimes I need to do this twice. I don't know why this cures it.

Under 3.2 I have seen (surface) naval units retreat onto a transport hex and disappear. I don't know if this could still happen in 4.0 nor if the same rule applies to sub bounces.

In 3.2 you can place an air unit in Mountain or swamp terrain if you do so when it is first built. Has this changed in 4.0? That could explain the Tbilisi FTR. But not Max's double line.

I would be delighted to trial 4.0 as a zip if Slitherine approve.
When I play the Axis, about one game in four I go for Persia and usually succeed. Which is not to say that I win the game, but that I establish a credible threat to Baku. It seems a viable strategy to me.

I would say that I was solidly intermediate. I invariably get thrashed by the elite players, and nearly always by the good ones. But I have played some 50 games, and usually beat opponents who don't concentrate on their play. I am UK time zone and so would prefer a European opponent. I can usually m...
