Ah, congrats! I’ll update. Meanwhile, think about which armies you’d like to have in the mirror game.

Re: Campio - Season 5: Ongoing
Well played you deserved the victory.
Much better use of the Indians in combination, than I managed.
As the old saying goes 'I never loose. I win, or I learn'.
Andreas had better be on good form, best of luck to you both.
Stew.

C5 Middle level. dim 30 vs kronenblatt
Kronenblatt Ghaznavide 962-1187 against dim30 Indians (Hindou north) 600-1049 dim30 wins 11%-47%
dim30 Ghaznavide 962-1187 against kronenblatt Indians (Hindou north) 600-1049 dim30 wins 20%-45%
2 hard battles where both armys have fragile troops who can rout easily. Mine have more luck in morale test in important places so I win.
Rosedelio, army choice is yours !

Re: Campio - Season 5: Ongoing
Rosedelio (Indian) defeats dim30 (Arab) 47-16
The Indian elephants managed to hold or smash through the infantry heavy Abbasid force while the archers and lancers dealt with the cavalry on the flanks.
Rosedelio (Arab) defeats dim30 (Indian) 67-41
The Arabs had a good start breaking through the center of the Indian formation. The Indians had a second wind including rallied elephants, but the initial breakthrough still gave the Abbasids enough of an advantage to secure the field.
With this, I retire undefeated. Thanks to everyone for joining the various seasons and to kronenblatt for hosting. Good luck to the next Campio!

Campio - Season 6?
And with that we’ll now pause this tournament until four new players step in with suggestions on new interesting themes.

Re: Campio - Season 6?
I would like to join the next Campio season. I want to suggest a theme related to Pyrrhus.

I'd be interested in a Pyrrhus themed event myself.

Re: Campio - Season 6?
I too like a Pyrrhus theme.
Perhaps an early battle against Demetrius and the Macedonian army. Perhaps a battle against the Illyrians to his north. An obligatory battle against the romans - perhaps with some Greek allies. A battle against Carthage in Sicily, perhaps calling upon Syracuse as an ally. Definitely a nice variety of enemies to draw on.

Re: Campio - Season 6: upcoming?
I recently completed a 15 game campaign as Pyrrhus with AAR posted in the forums.
I'd suggest possible enemies as follows:
1. Macedonian - Fighting in Greece
2. W Greek - Initial intervention in S. Italy
3. Syracusian - Opposition in Sicily
4. Carthaginian - Opposition in Sicily
5. Roman - Opposition in S. Italy

Re: Campio - Season 6?
@hscic: could you please confirm that you’re in for season 6?
Anyone else willing to step in if hscic still is no-show by Friday May 24?

Re: Campio - Season 6: upcoming?
In each leg the two players therein (i.e., principesromanes and hscic for their leg, and MrCrow and Karvon for theirs) together decide on which two armies (whether with or without allies) appropriate for the historical theme, plus a map terrain, to use in their two battles as part of a mirror game.
Please then post armies and map terrain here, in this thread, and you're finally free to set up the mirror game in Field of Glory II:Ancients as follows:
Battle outcomes, once resolved, are always posted by the victor, or the player having inflicted the most casualties, in a post of the tournament thread.
