That looks very very nice, I had a genuine gasp-ish reaction to it, change can be good, but that certainly looks appealing, more clean and polished and smooth, which fits into the theme of the mod

Hi mate, I just went through all the news and I have to say it's amazing work. Please keep it up, you just give this game a second life for usAkkula wrote: ↑Wed Feb 07, 2024 3:36 am Hello guys,
Just wanted to let you know that the works on 2.0 are still going on.... very slow, but consistent I think. Life doesn't give me enough free time for modding (plus motivation, which sometimes is everything).
For now I will let you know that another nations has decided to show up in Modern Conflicts
Cheers!

I will finish the Turkish campaign soon. Can't to have Asia in the game ! Also I look forward for new units for minor nation.
A quick suggestion : it would be great if we could have minor nation in the campaign core (like Ukraine for NATO and Belarus for Russia), and not only as auxiliary units.
Take care my friend !

Re: Modern Conflicts 1.95 (RELEASED)
Hello guys!
But not abandoned at all.
Just work and personal life. Sometimes I just need to clear my mind and modding is relatively demanding.
Don't worry, 2.0 will not disappoint you.
Unfortunately, no. It is taking more time than anticipated. Mostly because of lack of free time or motivation.outofspace1 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 09, 2024 7:34 pm Akkula something is long gone and shows no further progress. This means that the mod is on the finish line![]()

As I mentioned before, the progress is slow but steady. To those interested, I ask you for some patience
Some more unique Indian stuff:

And some Chinese flankers. They look badass:

I am not happy about the cities hexes I made for the Asian theme. I mean, there is no variety at all:

I will try to improve this after I finish working on the Chinese campaign. Again: hexes edition is not my strongest point, by far.
Best regards,
Akkula.

Hi author ) Modern East Asian cities, especially in China, are not much different from modern cities in the West ) There and there you can see only high-rise skyscrapers from a bird's eye view that to see what is smaller you need to go on a tourist trip ))))) You can stick to the style of tiles like in the People's General ))))Well, only North Korea is left as an Asian village.

Re: Modern Conflicts 1.95 (RELEASED)
Great news mate !
Tbh the current hexes design you are showing are good enough for me. I think modern days tend to uniformise architecture anyways.
Design units look insane, as usual ! Can't wait to see SK armor (K1, K2, and even T-80U with special camo
)
Also I don't know if it's technically possible, but it would be nice to have the minor nations playable in the campaing. It would definitly add some variety in tactical approach.
Another suggestion is to make a switch option with planes : for instance, make fighter-bomber able to change from air to ground to air to air mod. You could balance them by lowering their air to air stats compared to pure air superiority fighter, so it would still be necessary to have pure ASF for dealing with top tier ennemy fighter.
Again your work is very good, I played like hundreds of hours back in the days when I was in a long professional trip in country with very low internet connection, I have to thank you for that as you did allow me to fill some of my freetime there

Re: Modern Conflicts 1.95 (RELEASED)
Hi Akkula, I'm excited about your mod and I know that it takes a lot of work and time, I'm working on a fictional campaign myself and I'm building some “new” units from your units, because I don't know how to design them myself. I took the liberty of adding a few Serbian units to your unit list, e.g. M-77 Oganj, Lazar and Infantry-Strela.
I also built German units as elite/bonus units like in the original PCW.maybe that would be an idea for your new mod.I keep my fingers crossed for your new work.

Hi bondjamesbond, thanks for the tip with the translation. I'm very bad at English. I don't want to leave the wrong impression. I can't draw a unit myself, I don't know how it works. All units are from Akkula, I copy and cut them for me personally to a new unit together.
I build such a campaign myself with fictitious or similar units.

Re: Modern Conflicts 1.95 (RELEASED)
I've stoped following the mod for 6 months, and what I see ? An asian theater is planned ?!
A good timing to be back
Unfortunately, I have to request some help : I have changed my computer and I now have a bug that I never had with the old one.
Every icon on the campaign menu is at a random place, some are even not here.
2 total desinstalation and reinstalation later, I'm here on this forum, hoping that someone can help me.

EDIT : SOLVED !
If you encounter the same problem ; just change the resolution in the launcher.
