Re: Panzer Corps 2: Frontlines - Bulge is out now
Here I am, not yet done with the last AO run when another piece of content drops. I have been lax in my gaming duties it seems!
It's been a long ride to finally get some Allied campaigns. Short as this may seem on paper, it should be a welcome refresher from the usual content and I am really looking forward to test it out.

Re: Panzer Corps 2: Frontlines - Bulge is out now
The longest playable path is 9 scenarios.terminator wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 7:21 am What is the game duration of the main campaign of this DLC ?

Well, that depends on your difficulty level and if you need to restart a map. Some can be challenging though I haven't played it since the beta. Prestige management is a key here as some maps require that you use a considerable amount of prestige on aux unit replacements, or I can't imagine how you'd complete all of the objective without doing so. Then again, I also played on Field Marshal and Generalissimo, so results may vary. But none of the maps are really big compared to AO. I would say most are about average/medium sized, though the number of turns are generally on the generous side. You can also use the "runany Victory 0" cheat to skip through and preview all of the maps to see for yourself. But to try to answer you question more directly, you should be able to complete the entire DLC in an afternoon of dedicated playing. So, a few hours.terminator wrote: ↑Sat Mar 23, 2024 10:16 amThanks and in terms of time to complete the campaign ?adiekmann wrote: ↑Sat Mar 23, 2024 3:53 amThe longest playable path is 9 scenarios.terminator wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 7:21 am What is the game duration of the main campaign of this DLC ?
Hope that helps!

There were Jagdpanzer IV but no Jagdtiger in the battle of the bulge in my opinion
I found a video on YouTube, "Panzer Corps 2 | Frontlines: The Bulge | First Look" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYU7NfOB4Dc

I found several refs to them at Chaumont. And then several refs which said it isn't trueterminator wrote: ↑Sun Mar 24, 2024 10:52 pm There were Jagdpanzer IV but no Jagdtiger in the battle of the bulge in my opinion
Some even say WW2 ended in 1945, yet you still can happily invade away in 46
So I still hope for PzC: Tanks vs Zombies and PzC: The Musical

Re: Panzer Corps 2: Frontlines - Bulge is out now
1st Company s.Pz.Jg.Abt.653 took 14 Jagdtigers to the Western Front in December 1944 for the planned offensive in the Ardennes. Back on 3rd November 1944, these 14 Jagdtigers had been earmarked to form part of 3rd Company s.SS.Pz.Abt.501, but this was revoked by Hitler the next day. As it was, the 14 Jagdtigers were sent, but due to rail transportation issues resulting from Allied bombing, only 6 Jagdtigers managed to get to a staging area behind the lines at Blankenheim and took no part in the offensive. On 23rd December 1944, they were withdrawn as the entire s.Pz.Jg.Abt. 653 was being redeployed in order to take part in Operation Nordwind.bebro wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2024 6:35 amI found several refs to them at Chaumont. As Kil'Jaeden would put it: "The expendable have perished, so be it."

Generally I don't either, even in SCW. However, I haven't played since the beta so things may have gotten easier in the release version.
Must be nice for you to play a campaign that is new...and not have a lot of foreknowledge of the maps!

We had a server outage that was fixed a few days ago. Have you been able to buy it?

How is that even possible for the AI to choose a General Trait? Unless you accidentally selected it. I think there is a negative trait that gives the AI that ability.Kerensky wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2024 7:07 pm Turns out I was accidentally playing on super hard mode, because the AI getting Perimeter Control trait for that 2nd battle there was not preconfigured. It was a random quirk by virtue of the AI going first, it was allowed to pick up what is normally only a Player General Trait.
So, how goes it now that you restarted? I am very curious to hear it from you specifically. Also, what settings and traits are you playing under?
