can't start the game after the movie clip

hi

i am having the game Great Battles of Rome
i am using xp

my problem is when i start the game i can see the introduction movie but after the movie i am getting an error message
saying

this is the message that is comming up.

can anyone please help me out of this problem

Sorry you are are having problems. The first thing to do is chek you have the latest version of DirectX9.0c and that the drivers for your graphics card are up to date. If that does not help then post your machine specs and operating system details.
